If Mobile World Congress 2010 was all about the eReader revolution, 2011 will surely be dubbed the year of the Tablets.
No big surprise really, as I continue to be asked in almost every client workshop or session the past 3 months what the ‘next big tablet’ will be. For a time, the only possible response has been a reluctant nod to the Samsung Galaxy Tab – a potential (albeit very weak) competitor for the fabled iPad ‘Alternative’ crown.
However with our yearly pilgrimage to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona coming to a close, it’s a fine time to sit back, watch a few teaser videos, and get accustomed to a few of the key Tablets and platforms we’ll be inundated with for the rest of the year.
I’ll continue to add to the post as new and noteworthy tablet previews come our way – and do excuse the background tracks in these videos, while these companies can clearly produce tablet hardware, their ambient music skills are seriously lacking…
